Nicholas Shetler
Nick Shetler lives and writes in Evansville, IN. Nick earned his Juris Doctor in law from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2014 after completing his Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing from the University of Evansville in 2010, with high honors.
Nick has been an active trader for more than a decade, and for the past several years his passion has landed in cryptocurrencies. His writings and forecasts on Bitcoin and altcoins consistently prove accurate and are based on technical analysis and the application of theoretical stratagem and study. Trained in the value approach to investing of Benjamin Graham, Nick firmly believes in stop loss trails and is skeptical of investing for value with the intent to hold indefinitely (the Buffet derivation). In addition to macro and micro market analyses, many of Nick's writings focus on trade strategy that falls between intraday and long; he sees the highest risk/reward ratio to be most consistently found in the short and near term, or swing, and extended swing trades. His study of market activity and movement allows him also to identify sound long positions for any fund. Financial writing is Nick's fond way of pouring so many experiences and educations and skills of his into a complete, beneficial piece of literature for the fiscally-minded. Nick Shetler presently works as a broker-dealer of life and health insurance, is a former financier, and all-the-time trader. His greatest financial memory is standing in the top floor of the World Trade Center building as a kid, from Indiana, and looking out the window at the world. |
